7095 controller and waveboxes

Roger,
Have a 96x30x24 equiped with a wavebox and extension, centered on the same end. Just added 2 6100 and 7095 controller. Planed on placing a 6100 in each rear corner at a 45 towards the front center of tank.Would this be the best placement not to interfer with the wave cycle? Is there a recommended setting to use with the wavebox? Also stated in the 7095 manual is that you can run the waveboxes on the 7095 as well. Is it easier just to use the two seperate controllers or would placing everything on the 7095 be best? If so what is the correct way to do it?

Sorry for all the questions, just want things to work out the best.

Thanks,

Todd

You have to use the 6091 for the waveboxes but you can attach this to the 7095 but there is no point unless you wanted to alternate between waveboxes and streams. The streams will have a minimal impact and wave height. I would just tune the wave and then set up the streams.

I have a placement question also, I have a 72" by 24" tank. I have the wavebox on the front right glass blowing straight across the 72". I have 3 streams. Two are mounted in the back corners blowing straight across the 72" toward each other. I have one more stream on the front left glass, blowing at a 20 deg across the 72"(kinda towards the center of the 24" on the other side of the tank). Is there a better way with the wavebox?? Ihe left back streams is a 6201 and seemed to slow the wavebox. The other two are 6100. The rock formation is centered on the left side (not touching any glass on the front or back) and at the center of the tank rock begins to lay against the back glass. all the way over to the right side. Thanks.

I don't see a problem with how it is set up and don't think it will function better in a different position but for aesthetic reasons you could try a back corner providing the output is not obstructed.

when you say the output in not blocked, do you mean nothing is in front of it for the full length of the tank?? okay, i wanted to try putting all the streams on the back glass pointing straight out to the front glass. Do you think that will work as well or better. I have all 3 streams on the multicontroller, so they cut to 30% at night. I leave the wavebox on 24.7.

Yes, to get the biggest wave nothing should block the output for the full length of the tank.
