7095 Controller Failure

Hi Roger,

I've searched through the past 11 Tunze USA pages of threads and viewed a couple of threads with similar problems to mine so I think I know what you're going to suggest.

I have a 7095 controlling (1) 6000 and (1) 6100 streams, at least I did. I've just past the first anniversary of running this system and everything has exceeded my expectations! Just a great, powerful and versatile system in my 240 gallon reef. Just yesterday, I went to switch the controller to feed mode and noticed that I had no LEDs illuminated and that both streams were off. Removing the controller cords to the 7095 obviously allows the streams to run at full power.

I've done some limited troubleshooting but have had no success.

Your comments and suggestions would be greatly apprecitaed!

Best regards, Tim

I have never seen a 7095 break like this. The only things I have seen cause this is water damage or a bad cable. I have seen it happen where the cables are constantly flexed or stretched and the internal wires or connection are damaged so no power goes from the driver to the controller.

The controller is attached to the side of the tank with velcro strips and there is approximately a 2' loop for the cables entering the back of the stand. There has been no water damage and there is absolutely no stretching or pulling of the cables.

I have never seen one break, I would try a new cable just for the sake of argument, you should have 2 more that came with the controller. If that doesn't solve it it will need to come in for repair
