Is there a replacement photocell/led for the 7095? Mine doesnt seem to be working. I can put it on night mode, and LED mode and it does nothing. Roger, is there is a replacement, is it a part I could service myself? (i have plenty of soldering/circuit board experience)

We do have them, two models exist, one with a mini 4 pin connector and one that is soldered directly to the board (older), we changed to the quick connector in late 2007. I would start by opening the controller and checking which one you have, you only need to remove the 4 screws at the back of the controller.

I am having the same problem with my controller I sent it back to have you solder a new one on about a year ago and again mine is out I was wondering do the power heads still go into night mode if this light is not working?

They may or may not, it depends on the extent of the damage, I would check to see if the pumps stop pulsing at night. Usually the photocell/LED goes out because it is being submerged or sitting on a brace and getting wet, they are water resistant but not water proof, sitting in water will ruin them.

mine doesnt even go into night mode. Ill remove the back of the unit tonight and see which one I have and let you know Roger. Whats the cost on this part?

Roger I wanted to let you know that my light is working still I tested it again last night. Thanks

Thanks, it is important to remember it goes through a 29 day lunar simulation and brightens and dims to match the moonphases, for 1 day it is off completely and for many days it is so dim it is barely on.
