7095 controller question..

Is it safe to run the 7095 controller on a generator? Will the power surge of the generator mess with the micro-processer? Just want to make sure I unplug the unit if I need to run on gen. power.

I might put a surge supressor on the generator outlet but it should be OK.

Thanks, the generator plugs into a interface panal that runs some main circuits in the house, wanted to make sure because once it burned the board in my ice maker (or at least that is what the repair man told me?)
