7095 controller setting

Hi Roger,
I have 2 6105 and 1 6055 controlled by a 7095. Channel 1 and 2 are for the 6105 and channel 3 is for 6055. Channel 4 is currently not used. The 2 6105 are set to 50% to 80% power while the 6055 is set to 70% to 100%. They are all in "interval 2" mode. Here is a quick picture of the setting:

Hopefully you can see the power buttons:

1. Top left: 50%
2. Bottom left: 80%
3. Top right: 80%
4. Bottom right: 100%

The strange thing is the controller seems to only use 30% to 80%. Here is short HD video I took. If you pay attention to the left side panel, the lights indicates the power heads are going from 30% to 80% power only:

Is this correct or did I miss something?

It could be you interval is so short it is going from the 30% idle to 100%, your interval is shorter than the pulse so it may not be able to switch from 50%-100% and is just going from the 30% idle of Interval 2 straight to 100% and there just is not enough time for it to change.

Hi Roger,
So are my 6105 really going from 30% to 80%? Judging from the left panel lights, it seems like that's what they are doing? My 6055, on the other hand, seems to be doing the right thing by going 80% to 100% as the power button indicated.

Should I increase the currently set to min; should I increase this to give the controller more time?

Also, is there a way to set the power heads in different mode? For example, say one 6105 in pulse mode, one 6105 in interval mode and the 6055 in interval mode. Is this possible? It seems like from the manual, you can only set one mode for all power heads?

If you watch the 6055 was doing 30-100, 30-100, 80-100, 30-100, 30-100, it actually only did the 80-100 once in 5 cycles. I am positive a longer interval will solve this. In all modes the pumps pulse so you can use pulse and interval together or pulse and sequential, but you cannot do all at once. If you like what you have set up, try just 4 or 5 seconds for the Interval.

Hi Roger,
Maybe this will be easier. :) I have a peninsula style reef tank and all the power heads are on the overflow size pointing at the same direction. What would be the best option or mode for max nutrient export or random SPS flow?

Is my current setting optimal?

Btw, I have increase the interval setting a bit (turning the button a few degree clock wise) and now the lights on the power settings are staying on a little longer. For example, it goes from 30% to 80% to 100% with longer delay. But this doesn't seem to fix the "problem" because none of the power heads are set to 30% power as far as I can tell. The closest is 50%.

30% is part of interval 2, instead of off and on it is 30% and on so whichever pump would be off in Interval mode instead is at 30%, so you should see 3 speeds, 30% for off, and then the pulse between the two set speeds when on.

I would either use the program you are using or just use pulse, these would be the best choice with all pumps on the same side.

Interval 1- Channel 1 is off , Channel 2 is on and the channel that is on pulses, after the interval the channels switch.

Interval 2- Almost the same, just substitute off for a 30% idle speed.

Pulse- All pumps on and pulsing as set for the channel they are plugged into.
