7095 food timer

Is it normal when I press the Food Timer button for the pumps to shut off, then within 2 minutes the pump will turn on for second then shut back off ?

I thought the food timer would shut off the pumps for 8-10 minutes

It's intentional and a great feature. The momentary motion of the impeller keeps small fish from hanging out in the pump while in feed mode and getting turned into sushi when they come back on.
