7095 multicontroler

Roger,
what are the differences between this controler and the old one (was the 7091?)?. Looks like one of the options is the capacity of turn totally off one of the pumps and then the other with specific intervals but, this could be used combined with the two pumps runing at the same time? really my question is if this controler is much more programable than the other and lets combine two totally diferent features?
Thanks

The controller is much easier to use, has touch keys rather than switches and buttons. It can switch pumps in intervals as short as one second vs the present minimum of 1 minute. It has a new program that is like tide mode but instead of being off the other channel just idles at low power. We added a small LED to the photocell and a moonlight program so that at night you get a moonlight effect to coincide with the nightmode for the pumps.

Roger:

Can yo add more moon lights? One won't do much on some of the larger tanks out there.

I have a 7095 on order and my tank footprint is 65x36

The idea is moonlight- not night viewing light. The moon is dim and the light is escapable for sleeping and that is the same concept behind this light which will illuminate a 12" square. Proportional to the Halides it is a realistic simulation. In the future we will have a stand alone moonlight if you want another but the one is really sufficient.

Roger, please keep us posted on the stand-alone moonlight. There is a real need for a moonlight timer that's able to switch 110V devices. Hopefully, Tunze's moonlight system will include a switched 110V outlet... :)

The moonlight will have it's own light and not be capable of switching any other devices. We are targeting $50 for the computer and LED.

the moonlight has a 29 day moon fase cycle program, so witching other devices wouldn't work. Roger, will one moonlight be enough for a 52"x28"x28" tank? not exactly a 12" square.

Yes, it is not designed to light the entire tank, just provide a soft moonlight effect- it is not a night viewing light.

Do we just special order the 7095 from Marine Depot or Premium Aquatics? I can't seem to find it on their sites.

what is the pricing going to be like I want to add another 6000 TUNZE to my tank but will wait till the new controller comes out.
