7095 or 7090 Controller Problem

Got my 7095, hooked up two 6095's with the new 7090 controllers that come with these pumps (pumps are less than 3 months old). 7095 set at Interval 2, both channels set at 30% min and 100% max. I have one 6095 not running in the min setting. The other is fine. I have swapped cables, channels and still the same, the same 6095 will not run in the min setting. I have set the 7090's for external, calibrated both for the minimal run mode but the one unit will not run in min. What's strange is this one unit will work by itself pulsing from min to max but not hooked to the 7095. The other unit works great connected or not connected to the 7095. I am thinking something might be wrong with this unit receiving a min signal from the 7095 controller?

I had the same problem with one of the 6095's. The pump and 7090 controller needs to be calibrated before it can run at 30%. I sent my controller back to Tunze & received a calibrated one. If you search here, you might find others that had that problem and the instructions how to calibrate the controller. I had trouble with the calibration, that's why I sent it in.

I did the calibration on the controller and nothing changed. Still doesn't run at the min%. That's what makes me think the 7090 controller on the Pump is the problem.

It is the calibration, it sometimes takes a few tries. Try this, find the lowest speed the 6095 will run on on the 7095, step down a little below that so if it runs at 60% try 50%, once it starts at that speed try again stepping it down about another 10% until you get it run at 30%.

I picked up a 7095 today and can't get my 6040s to run at less than 60%. The calibration procedure isn't working for me.

Have you tried the method of stair stepping down, so you set the controller at say 50% and do the calibration and then repeat at 40% and so on?

I turned it down as low as it will go, which is about 60%, and then I try to turn it down a tiny bit and it just stops. Do I do this in pulse mode? Like have main power at 100 and pulse power at 60 and try to work it down with the pulse power knob? I've tried adjusting both knobs and below 60 I get nothing.

It is an entirely separate calibration function on the 7090, it is activated by long hold of the food timer button and you keep holding it during the calibration, the 7090 pulse power button will flash rapidly during this entire calibration-

The calibration mentions the 6055, but it is the same for all models-

1. Connect the 6055 to your 7095 controller
2. Please turn your 7095, to the minimum power of 30% on both speed settings for the channel it is connected to.
3. Turn the 6055 to the external mode (yellow LED lit).
4. Turn the "pulse power" dial on the 7090 to the middle position
5. Hold the Foodtimer button on the 7090, watch the dial on "pulse power" until you see a short flash of the blue LED continue to hold the button.
6. Turn "pulse power" until the 6055 starts in the minimal range, it may need to be turned in either direction, turn slowly until it starts then let go of the food timer button.

It is not in the manual, the pumps changed mid 2015 and use a 0-6.5V signal, controllers 7090, 7097 and 7000 use the same signal, the older pumps and controllers used a 0-8V signal and the calibration of the 7090 just reinterprets the signal range which is much tighter now.

Do I need to turn the main power on the 7090 to 100% because I notice that even though I have it on external control, adjusting the main power knob changes the speed? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure i get the calibration right the first time.
