7095 VS 7096 controller

I believe the 7096 you will be able to control all four channel independently. The 7096 you must plug into a PC to change settings etc... it cannot be done by the controller alone

I believe the 7096 will be a fair comparison to the Aquasurf. The 7095 is limited in the ability to control channels independently as there is basically two channels on the 7095 and 4 on the Aquaasurf. But the 7095 can do some pulsing that the Aquasurf cannot replicate to my knowledge. And while you can use times there is no photocell for the Aquasurf to replicate nighttime calm, though you could program that with timestamps. 7095 is far and away easier to setup for the average person IMO and I believe that will follow thru to the 7096 as I doubt there will be the program language to deal with.

Hopefully the 7096 will be ready in December, the hardware itself is ready but the program for running on Windows/Mac is not yet ready. It will have a lot of neat features above and beyond what any other controller available for our pumps can do but since they are not finalized I cannot discuss them at this time. It will have 4 programmable channels and will be able to run all of our controllable pumps as well as the wavebox. The 7095 is not being replaced, the 7096 is an additional controller option, it is only programmable by USB connection to a computer, once programmed, flash memory stores the program.

That sounds great, love the support for Mac! Will you be able to have multiple pumps on a channel?

I am definitely going this route with my new tank. This is going to be an awesome setup.

Will it work with original streams? eg 6101 & 6201?

I know you cannot talk about some of the new features but will there be an option that will allow the mentioned pumps to act similar to a wavebox?
