7095 vs. 7096

I'm debating between these two controllers and wondering if the 7095 has any functions that the 7096 does not have. Is there any downside to choosing the 7096 over the 7095 as far as reliability, flexibility, # of pumps, etc?

Thanks for any additional info!

Mike

7095 is very solid, 7096 is as well but it can be screwed up if something interrupts a firmware update. 7096 does more and costs less. It has 4 channels while the 7095 has only 2 so 2 pumps do the same thing. Both control 4 pumps natively and up to 8 with 7092.340 y adapters.

Thank you Roger, I think I'll opt for the 7096. Can I purchase directly from you or should I just look for my preferred retailer?

Thanks for the info!
