7095 vs 7096

Hi roger
I would like to know which one is better controller in your opinion to run 2x6095 ..
Also since 7096 is a program based controller via computer can this be programmed to the clock where we set it to shut down at certain time at night

The 7096 has more features and is less expensive so it is generally the way to go.

The 7096 has a simple one screen interface, once the controller is programmed it is disconnected. It does have a night mode but it is actuated by a photocell and not a timer. The controller stores only one program and it has a nightmode and stormmode that can overlap that for calmer conditions at night and a daily to weekly brief storm surge.

If you are not in a rush to buy you might wait a few months, something new is around the corner.
