7095 vs 7096

Is there any chance there will be an ungrade to make the intervals shorter.

I like to do 15 second.

Does the 7095 control a nano wavebox?

Tunze in Germany still working on fine tuning the controller. It is possible that the new controller can do the same as the old with some new features like Storm mode...

The 7095 can't control the wavebox.

That's an interesting statement. Why do you like the 7095 more?

Because i am not good with computer :D. I am more into mechanical stuff. But i will get the 7096 to play with.. :D

That the intervals are alot shorter. Ive got two 6055 and a nano wave box just waiting for the 7096 or 7095 depending on intervals.

The 7096 has a wavebox mode which is basically a .3-2.5 sec interval so it is a lot shorter in that sense. However the 1-60 second Interval mode of the 7095 is not on the 7096. It made the user interface screen too cumbersome and we typically recommend intervals be hours long as this more closely replicates natural tide conditions.

What is the lowest the interval will be

I get what your saying about the interval changing hours instead of min.

Im still on the fence for which one to get.

At this point i wanna hook up just the 6055 to my 30 breeder and dont know if i should wait for 7096 or the just get 7095.

At this point all i wanna do is switch between the two pumps one on high flow one on the lower.

Can a single controller do that?

No, a single controller only has one program and if you used a branch adapter to connect two pumps they would mirror each other.

I got a test version Thursday and I have I played with it for a while on Friday. It works very well, it should be on target for late March. It is presently for Windows only but any upgrades will be available on the Tunze website as both firmware and software updates. I ran it on my IMac in VMWare using Vista, it immediately found the com port and everything ran easily. It did not allow me to hot swap the USB but I have never known Windows to allow that, though Mac's usually do without issue. Basically if you disconnect the USB you have to restart the program when you reconnect.

The funny part is that most people i know would pay extra just to get to plug it in to their computer....if you can make it to where you can control it from your iphone then you could charge a grand for it and people would be lined up
