LOL sorry to beat a dead drum, But i am holding out what these things can do for my new controller choice!!! Please be out soon!!! Can we get some details on what they are capable of?
Like programming functions? Can this unit give resonance to streams like the comp?
Can the funtions be changed at vertain times? (Like resonance to a pulse?
Spill the beans please. LOL

The 7096 has just about every feature of the 7095, the only feature lost is the Interval can only be as fast as 1min, on the 7095 1sec is possible. This was a compromise to keep the interface simple. Added features are below:

Moonlight is now 3* more candella, for all practical purposes it appears twice as bright.

"Storm Mode" has been added, every 1-7 days (user setting) the main program is overridden and the pumps all run in a random chaos mode for about an hour to clean up debris.

Food timer duration is programmable.

"Wavebox mode" with auto tuning. 2 channels can run a wavebox and there is a seek feature where it just slowly advances the timing and you hit stop once a wave is created.

The controller is pretty much ready, the only bug we have to work out is with Windows, right now it has trouble with the COM ports and this must be manually assigned 80% of the time, this has to be solved.

So the problem has not been solved yet? Does that mean that after the bug has been solved the product will be beta tested for at least 3 months then put into production and sales. So for a reliable product to be released we can relisticly look at 3rd 1/4 2009.

It is a pretty simple problem that should be solved very soon and it won't take much testing to be sure it boots every time properly, it should be ready in March 2009 but maybe we will just note that Nemo's Janitor can't have one until 3rd qtr 2009.

Thankyou for the description, I would love to see a resonance mode.
If you could get the interval timing down to .05 seconds you would sell alot more for the resonance effect. IMO
I ran a profilux on my old tank (180) at .08 seconds right angle short, which just was interval 2 ramped up and down from 30-100% in .8 seconds. I got a very nice wave on a 180 and still had great flow! Making things simple is good, But please ask Mr Tunze to look why people are switching controllers for this same reason i mentioned. (Resonance)
I do like the storm mode! Your pumps and service are Number 1.

It will be cable of down to .3 seconds. We have a patent pending on the use of resonance to produce a wave, that was our invention and the patent was filed before the wavebox came out.

Well good deal! I will look forward to buying one when they are ready! Bought 2 more new tunze's awaiting the new controller. :)

Didnt know there was a patent. As for resonance thats up for patent is it the wavebox function of displacing water for a resonance?? Or multiple pumps creating a resonance?
Or both?
I was reffering to the second.
