I have 2x 6101 pumps and a 7096 controller on a 120g tank. Is there a way to use the way to use wave mode, which is pulsing 0-100%, AND nightmode where the pumps will run 0-30%? The way it is now, if I use nightmode, my pumps dont run at all over night, or they would run at full tilt wave mode

Wavemode does turn off at night, the reason being that the splashing of the wave is likely to keep people awake and at a lower power their is likely to be no wave.

Actually, night mode on a 7096 is not 0-30%, it is whatever you set the power 1 setting to for each channel. It will work for all modes except wavemode. In general you should have a directional current to accompany wavemode, wavemode only is rarely to be recommended.
