7096 programming help

I am trying to set this up on 2 new 6105s I have. When I set it on random flow, with channel 1 and 3 set on 40(power1) and 100(power2), the pumps shut off completely instead of dropping to a lower speed.

The program I would like best would have the pumps switching back and forth from 40-100 percent, like every minute or so. How do i do this?

Not that I've figured out the 7096 yet........................but..........

Not certain you can have one on a low flow while the other runs @ the set speed. While one (or more) is running the program the other(s) will be off...............unless (if I'm correct) you use the pumps in the same channel (i.e. 1 & 2).........................but this would mean both pumps run 40 - 60 at the same time?

For near what you want you can use interval. Click the interval icon, select how often you want to switch between pumps in the very top box (how long each pump runs), set the pulse (how fast it goes between the set power levels), and then the power levels (in your case 40 - 60).

Random as described in the manual is sequence mode with two speeds set per pump so at random the pump comes on at either speed. They do indeed switch off and on. At present there is no program to do exactly what you want, you can do that every few seconds in pulse more or use Interval mode but in any mode except pulse the pumps turn off at the assigned interval. A planned software update will add the feature you want by the end of the year.

In pulse mode. Ch1 set to p1 40 and p2 100. Ch2 set to p1 100 and p2 40. I have a wave box hooked upto ch3.
This means the flow tends to alternate from one direction to the next as the more powerful pump takes over.
Is this what you are trying to achieve?
