7096 Questions

I recently got a 7096 controller and I had a couple of questions:

1. When I press the food timer 2 of the pumps keep clicking on. It's not a smooth turn on, but a harsh pop. Is this supposed to be happening?

2. I want to set up the storm cycle to run once per week. The program entry is hours and days. Is the to enter the hours it will run and how many days between running? If not, how do I set it up to run for 6 hours every 7 days?

1. It is normal and called the fish care function.

2. have not used one and cant seem to get the manual to download here at work so will have to hold off on answer but sounds probable

Storm mode is preprogrammed and last only a few minutes, the details of what storm mode does are in the PDF manual on the CD Rom. The hours and days are just the number of hours and days between storm modes. In this case you would just set it to 7 days.
