70g Reef Ready Build!

Okay, I just bought this, I only paid $100 for a 70g Reef ready Acrylic tank with stand and canopy, I will however have to wait a few weeks to set it up because I had to special order the bulkheads, Plus with christmas around the corner $ and gift cards up the kazoo! So far i have ckeaned it up, repaired a few things, and polished the stand, and it is looking pretty sweet! Sorry cant get some decent pics for a few days, cameras with my sister on vacation

cool, its made by U.S Aquariums, and I cannot find anything on them at all, the bulkheads should be here tommorow or tuesday

Hey i think thats my old tank! but it didnt have the cracks. Does it still have the 4 VHO's in the canopy?

no, no more vho's, but there are 4 white blocks of wood glued in the top, thats cool, lol small world right? did you crack the side of the canopy or was that a different owner?lol

No that was when colin had it. it is a very nice tank when set up. T5s fit very nice under there! sorry about the hack job on the back but at least you can fit a bigger refugium in there now!

On the back i cut it out to fit a bigger sump in.

it hasn't been set up in a while, i could tell, it was covered in dust, and there was a bunch of dried up corraline on the back. So what did you cut I still cannot figure it out?

You know where the doors are on the front? now open them and look str8 thru to the wall... the hole in the back should be the same size as the hole in the front where the doors open. Do you see it?

yeah i see it know, the edges are smooth though so its hard to notice, looks like a 29g could fit
