70w MH adequate?

Would a 70w MH on a 24 gallon AP be enough for low light SPS and LPS?

I would have to say that it's probably not enough light for a 24g. A 150W MH would be a much better choice which will give you the flexibility to keep SPS and your LPS.

forgot to add, make sure you get a sunpod or similar over the viper light since there is a major difference in light intensity. if you want to go topless check out the coralife 150w clamp-on. hth.

I'd go with the 150 watt sunpod. Think about it, the 70 watts already come packaged with the 24 AP, so its a go working realationship.

The JBJ Viper's are no good.

I have a 70w MH over my sump and tried to grow a monti digi frag.It stays alive with very little growth and the color fades.So i would also say no.I'm going to go with a 150w for my 2.5 nano.HTH
