I have had a crocea for about the past year in a 12in deep tank with a 150w hqi halide light.
I have recently "upgraded" tanks to an all in one bio cube.
I modified the crap out of the hood to fit a 70w HQI halide into it, and now my clam (and his new friend) sit about 7 inches below the halide (in 3-5 inches of water), high in the rockwork. The bulb is 12 or 13k, don't remember.
Anyhow, will this be enough light for these guys? If not I could transfer them over to my frag tank which has 4x39watt T5HO, but it doesn't even seem as strong as the halide...
Thanks!
