hi
my problem is that when i took my pump out to clean i scraped the wire over the brace bar and cut it about 1" from motor block, not wanting to risk reinstalling i got another when it arived the shop said tunze no longer make that model and have replaced it with a updated vesion the problem is on my old pump it states on top 7180 67l/min Hmax 2.8m
27l/min Hmax 6.0m

but on new pump it states
7180/2 13.3-26.7 l/min Hmax 2.0 - 6.0 m

the new pump to me is less than half the power, is this correct if so how can it be a direct replacement. this is one of my return pumps and has to lift to 6ft ish so the new pump will only give me27 l/h instead of 67 l/h

many thanks

It is the same pump, Tunze discontinued including the large diameter outlet with the 7100 and thus the volume dropped. It is of no consequence because at 6ft of head the outlets were essentially equal in volume and both only produced about 500gph. If you put the large diameter outlet the flow characteristic will be 67l/min/ 2.8m head max - 67l/min being 0m of head. With the small outlet it will be 27l/min/ 6.0m head, 27l/min being at 0m head. Essentially at 5-6ft the flow of each outlet is equal and since most tanks have this height the large low pressure outlet was discontinued.

i have large dia outlet 25 o/d 22 i/d on the pump so @ 0m it will still give me 67l/m and at 6footish it will give me about 500gal/h

Yes, IIRC the big outlet gives you about 460 and the small one 480 or so at 6ft.
