720 Gal SPS tank with Full LED lights - BB

Awsome looking tank and amazing minimalistic rock structure!!!

Is the Sera siporax commonly used in Brazil for reef tanks? what does it do and how does it work?

THX

Yes, its commonly used. Siporax is nothing but a big huge home for nitrifying bacteria. Every 50 Liters of Siporax treats 20.000 liters of water so, I'm oversized.

I have already used on my last reef and it was a success. Now I have organized them one by one so that no dirty seats on top of them.

It works very very well.

Regards.

What's involved in the maintaining siporax?
Love the aqua scape

Wow. Love it.

You really need barb'd fittings on all those soft hose to pvc connections on the back of the tank. You're begging for one of those to pop off one day and make a gigantic mess.

You are right. I have already ordered the fittings. Hope I will get it soon.

Some new SPS colonies have arrived. They are not on their final position and now the fun begins.

My giant Green carpet anemone is happy but the clownfishes seems to like the artificial $3,00 anemone a lot more :angryfire:

Much more will come soon so lets start...

Thanks to all

Roberto

The cable management and control panel is amazing! I love the cabinetry work as well, it looks sweet! "Some new SPS colonies"… that's more than most peoples systems! Congrats!

ARTIFICIAL anemone!!! If you can PM your address, I'll send you a little diver and treasure chest!
:)

Hehehe I know that's horrible and I'll take it off soon. I have used to make my clownfishes happy when thay arrives alone.

There are some pros too. They dont harm corals and don't walk over the thank...:D

Looks fantastic. Care to explain a bit on the white silicon bottom? Did the tank manufacturer install that, or is that something you did? Any idea of what brand was used? Very curious for my next build ... love the look
