72g big enough for group of Perc/Ocellaris?

Thinking of doing a species only tank. What would you think about a 72g bowfront stocked with 6 or so juvenile clowns and letting them grow.

That would be ok until they become sexually mature, then you will have to seperate them.

I was under the impression that when introduced together as a group when juveniles that the one dominant fish will become the female, one becoming the mating male and the others staying relatively sexually immature.

Yes that would happen but in an aquarium (except for the very large ones), the ones that are below the male and female in the hierarchy are picked on and harrassed to keep them that way. In the small confines of an aquarium, this will most likely end in death one by one over time. It is possible that it can work, though very unlikely. If you try it, I would have another tank setup and ready to seperate the fish as time progresses or tank dividers, or a cage inside the tank.
