730g In-Wall Display

Great looing tank, i love the marble trim, and how efficiently compact the fish room is.

Im gonna start on my in wall 120 in a 10 x 12' area, once i finish the rest of my basement. ( which im starting tomorrow yeaa) i look forward to seeing this through and hope mine turns out as clean looking

It's GRANITE, and next to the LR it actually looks like the LR was sliced and polished due to the color & pattern. Also, most of what you can see in the pics above is the inset which is very small, overall the room is 16' x 7' which is actually pretty decent size wise for a full fish room. I do wish it was another 3-4 front to back though... 10' would be perfect!

you need to invest in a "TOPSIDE CREEPER"

especially if you plan on doing your maintance from outside the tank.
although diving in would be sweet!

I'm planning to build one w/ a 2x10 that I can just lay across the top and then lay across... That combined w/ a standard snorkel and I should be fine for placing corals and eventually doing routine fragging. :)

I installed the (4) 400w back-line lights today... The (5) front lights will have to wait for the custom light controller that a friend is building for me.

impressive so far. i was thinking you were gonna use the air conditioner as a chiller.
Ummmmmm, NO!

If you search back several years under my name for "Ghetto Chiller" though, you will see that I was the guy that successfully built a chiller for a 90g using a small dorm fridge. ;)

How does that work? I got one. I think its the older version. It came with a 90 gallon tank that I purchased from a guy off CL. I didnt care about the pumps and the extras he added. The tank was a steal. Only $100 for the stand DT. How do i start it and what do I put in it? (if you can help)

Looks Awesome! I too have plans for a creeper across the top. Hopefully you will show me how its done. :)
I'm just planning to lay a 2x10 across the top and then lay over it like a surfboard, then using a mask & snorkel, stuff my head and arms under he water so I can see and reach what I need to see and reach.

I figure it's a pretty "low-tech" solution to a high-tech problem. ;)
