I posted this in the general "for sale" forum, but thought this might be a better place...
My wife and I have moved, and there is no room in the new house, so my reef tank has to go. It is currently still at my old house, which has been purchased by my Mother and Father in law. I can't take going over there to take care of it...They're crazy people...
The system includes 75 gallon main tank, 40 gallon refugium (with a few mangrove trees growing in it), canopy that includes (2) 250 watt halides, and (2) 65 watt CF lights. There are several pumps, and all of the plumbing all has to go. 110# of live rock (covered by corals) 2"+ of live sand in main tank as well as in the fuge.
The reef includes green star polyps (tons of em), zoos, shrooms, branching hammer, branching frog spawn, a medium sized tube anemone, and misc other items. There are 2 blue green chromis, 1 high fin cardinal, one clown fish, one yellow watchman gobie, one other gobie, and lots of crabs and other critters.
The tank is not in pristine condition, due to the moving process, but the corals and livestock are all doing well. I will try to get over there to get some pictures taken, but I do not have any at this moment.
Here's the deal. I am not interested in parting the thing out. It has to go. All of it. I will sell it cheap, but you have to take the whole thing, or none. If you want to buy it, and then part it out, knock yourself out. I figure I have well over $2000 in the system. I'll sell the whole thing for $350 (I just spent $120 on the new XM halides). It is located in Sioux Rapdis, IA...which is 20 miles south of Spencer, IA. I can not deliver it, as I do not have the vehicle to be able to do so.
Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks,
Dan
