Are there any SPS species that I could keep under these lights? My tank water is always extremely clean, even though I do NOT use a skimmer. I have a lot of live rock, and powerheads (need more for SPS lol), and a power filter. That's it. My lights are the Nova Extreme 216 watt T5 HO fixture, from Current.

Of course, they would be kept at the top of the tank, which is simple for me because I have two "mountains" of live rock, which almost hit the sirface of the watr. So I can put them probably 3 inches from the lights.

LMK what you SPS freaks (jk of course) think. Someone told me montipora capricornis would be fine, and pocillopora (sp?), and something else...

Montiporas should do okay..... pocilipora, birds nest (seriatapora's) acropora milleporas will probably be okay but expect some tissue darkining without a skimmer.

So if I get a decent skimmer, they will be brighter? I'll do that then. Any recommendations?

Thanks so much for replying!
