75 Gallon Tank empty

I am moving my old display tank to my house this weekend. I have slowly taken all the livestock, coral, and live rock out of the 75 gallon tank over the last year and moved it to my 180. I was planning on plumbing in the 75 to the same system that the 180 is in. What should I put in the 75? Is is possible to have a FOWLR tank plumbed together with a reef system? Should I not connect these two display tanks through the same sump? Some ideas that I have been throwing around:
1. Have the 75 gallon be more of a predator tank. Catch smaller lion fish this summer on my dive trip and bring 1 or 2 back instead of eating them.
2. Make it a Nem tank
3. Softie tank... can you do this successfully if it shares a sump with a LPS SPS tank?

Do you have any other ideas?

a little more information
Tank will be lit by 2 kessil a360W tuna blue fixtures
I would like to keep the black sand I have for it or go bare bottom.
I will be drilling the tank to install a ghost overflow.
This tank will be in the fish room and not visible to normal house guests.

I always thought a clownfish harem tank would be pretty cool. Something like the one they did on BRTV.

Yeah I am seriously considering that. I love nems and I haven't kept any in a long time.

plumb it in as a slow flow 'fuge. pipfish, macro, trees.... or a 100% crazy shrimp tank. slow flow, macro, and tons of bumble bee shrimps.

I really enjoy my nem tank. Im going to upgrade it to a 120 eventually but Im glad I moved my nems to a different tank instead of getting rid of them. Now two of my favorites are in the nem tank. ( blue carpet nem & nem crab.)

My experience in mixing softies and stonies wasn't very good. They have different water quality likes and dislikes. I'd use the 75 to add stability and biodiversity to the system, maybe a refugium packed with DSB, rock rubble, macros and a good selection of beneficial detritivores, sponges, etc.

Or a clownfish and anemone tank as the symbiotic relationship is amazing.
