It is not mold. It is coral stone covering. It was made this way.

Thanks sir. I didn't mean any offense. I kind of figured it might be stone, but from the picture you took it is very difficult to see that from the photo. I figured why not ask since others may not see that.

Swirlygig no offense taken. It is very hard to take pictures of the whole thing. I have 1/2" Styrofoam wrapped around all sides of the glass for protection while storing. This keeps it dark inside the tank. I wish I could get better pictures. When I get far enough away to get the entire 10' tank in the pictures I'm not getting the best detail on the stand.

It is really amazing how many people want to have a big tank but then can't fit it into their houses. It is such a cool big wide tank. Someone is going to have an awesome setup. I wish my new house could handle the width. I will actually have up to 14' of length but only about 3' of width.
