750g show tank (L shape)

Why not use normal "Tees" instead of going through all that trouble of the welding? Seems weaker to me. Not bashing just curious.

Really curious to see how the 4 overflows are plumbed coming out of that "manifold" (or whatever it's called).

I have seen a lot of "manifolds" for closed loop intakes, but this combining of multiple overflows into one common pipe is like none other I've seen.

Still learning and liking!

WOW!!! all the plumbing makes perfect since now. not to mention how beautiful it is. seeing things like this makes me wish i would have done things way slower and in a totally different way.

Thank you!
we wanted to take our time this time a try doing everything we hadn't though on our first tanks :)

are you going to leave the pipes just hanging like that? im not sure if i would let all that weight from the water be supported by the overflow box bulkheads. to me it just seems like a disaster waiting to happen. youll be surprised how much water that pipe can hold and how heavy it can get.

yeah I was thinking the same thing, seems like it would need some sort of brace.

You're right it would be to heavy to just let it that way, so we will put some brace like this (it's not fix yet... it just to show you)

they had to do that for the placement of the intersections. so it would make sense that they would weld them in place.

Barnabus's is right... it would have been easier with tee lol but it wouldn't have work

and this way if we have to remove the plumbing for one raison or an other it will be possible :)

Wow, this is really cool build. :D I notice your homepage is a e-store; is that where you get all your equipments from? Just curious

when say are going to fill it a week or two, is that with water to test for leaks or straight in with salt?

looking great, always think L are better you may have space for a 12 foot tank but a 6 foot L
