750g show tank (L shape)

Very nice Marie
That's a huge calcium reactor!
Love the moorish idol and regal angel
I have large red sea angel doing very well on my QT along with other large angels and soon pick up a pair of morrish idol too!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful tank, it is perfection. A few pages back you mentioned that you would be using a large reactor for nitrate control but I don't see if you said what would be in the reactor, biopellets?

we tried biopellets... but it remove to much
we were going low nutriment, and since with the business we don't have much time to take care of our tank we couldn't feed corals everyday

we loose a few because of this :(
so we stop

right now we are at 10 of nitrates so it's not bad :)

Wow!!!! That tank is great. You give me ideas for after I get out of college lol. I can barely afford a 125 gallon reef tank, let alone your 750 gallon, I am sure just 10% of your livestock would more than cover my set up. I was thinking of setting up a 500 gallon some time after college, now you make me want to go bigger.

I see you had your LED lights for about a year. I am thinking about using led lighting on my new tank. How do you like your led lights? How is the color and growth with them?

it's a Chromis retrofasciata (or the Black bar chromis) :)

Hi Marie i love this fish so playful to watch, i have one in my new setup. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2022954&page=5
i read thru ur build thread. Your attention to detail is truly exceptional. And congrats on your great reef slice.
Your tank is a big inspiration for me in my new build, though much smaller than your tank. Please do take a look.
Your equipment selection is again something really cool. You do know how to pick them.
Can ya let us know the latest updates on ur equipment? Things
youv changed from the initial equipment list.
Any future equipment plans?
We know ul swamped with ur amazing shop but do keep updating we all are a greedy pack of reef wolves lol

I hadn't checked out your build for quite a while now and have to say that your tank is exactly what you would expect with your attention to detail in the equipment side. Gorgeous!

I was just curious, have you had any issues with your pumps? They were the first that I saw of that design and I was wondering how they stand up.

Absolutely beautiful tank! Love how you built everything, we're building a house next year and are going to incorporate some of your ideas ;-)
