thanks!

little update,

we got news from Geisemann rep. we will receive our fixture in about 1 week :)

the balling canister and the kalkwasser are praticly done

all of the tunze pumps 6105 are ordered, so we should receive them soon

and we should have the acrilyc for the sump tomorrow

we are still not sure of what to use to heat this tank, and how to remove the humidity of the room... if you have any suggestion please tell us ;)

Good for you! Cant wait to see how you set up the sump room! I know in my area there is a hydroponics store that sells exhaust fans to suck the air out of an area. As I have seen you do have a window behind your tank. Idk if it will work but if you were to put a fan in the window to suck air over the tank and out the window it may cool the tank and keep things dry. Anyone have any ideas on this?

look what we receive today!!

we should have 4 more of the 6105 ... but maybe we will go with the stronger model for the last 2

:D :D

Marie

Very cool build you have way more guts then I have. As for the humidity I have around 800 gallons total and In the winter I use a Hrv and have very little to no humidity.

In the summer my ac keeps it under check but Nanook uses a split ac unit that keeps his fish room cold all year round.

Here are some pics of my Hrv.

thank you Fade! glad to know this unit is strong enough for 800g of water :)

biecacka : no we didn't... that's why we are so stressing over our tank hahaha we will add water very slowly hihihi

but we had a lot of help form Miracle, and some friends who had experience in building glass tank so I'm confident that all will be fine :)

we buy our media reactor today :)

oh and the making of the sump is started!
it's getting more and more exciting!!

I'm really loving this build. If I had a basement that wasn't a dayhome I'd be all over something like this! Very brave of you to build that yourself. From what I see in the pics you guys could be selling tanks yourselves!
