So I'm looking through the latest issue of Reef Hobbyist Magazine, 2nd qtr 2013 (vol.7) and I see this article about a handmade 750G reef tank. Reading a bit into it, I'm thinking this story sounds familiar, I flip through some of the pages, see the equipment room and proclaim "Hey I know that tank!"

Nice work on the tank!!!!

I have an 800g L-shape, just got my LED's in from the manufacturer. Then have to add some finishing touches to the aquascape

Doing a 350 gallon water change on the weekend... been making ro/di all week, lol, I store it in 55 gallon drums.

The most challenging thing i find is cleaning the glass, its a little hard to reach the corner of the L.

people have seen our big skimmer and now some want to have their own monster

here a couple picture of one we are making right now for a customer.. 53 inch hight and a diameter of 12 inch

does the bubble plate/waffle plate touch the plastic tube (the inner tube?)
have you tried running a smaller diameter plate within the tube? in case there is too much restriction or ill effects on the skimmer?'

I know you had Deltec at your shop, and they do things like this on there new skimmers. just curious if you have tried it to see what if anything happens?

J-F made a "little" adjustment on the mod that he made for the Mp-60
have a look

with this, we will have a lot less maintenance than the sponge and should be safe for the fish and anemone

What is the idea behind having the cover for it rotating like that? Just curious what problem its addressing.
