75g Lurking danger and Leafy Seadragons

lucky lucky.

I use Seachem Flourish to bump phosphate from time to time without issue, but not with Excel. Flourish acts like a fertilizer and excel acts the same but through C02 adds. So you’re right, a double shot. One or the other if you need to bump for plant stuff. They should do well in a .1ppm to .3ppm range without overtaxing your filtration, or making corals unhappy.

So glad you were able to dodge that one!

Yes sir, I do consider myself lucky!

Actually I like what you are saying about adding one or the other. Excel I think works to make carbon more available to the macros/plants. I plan to read more about it to actually learn how it works. I know Flourish has iron and other things that plants/macros need.

The coral did not seem to be impacted negatively at all. In fact they all looked especially happy but that was probably due to the water change.

I wiped the glass and the tank looked so nice that I snapped a few pics.

I placed an order with KP Aquatics this morning, the most I ever got from anywhere. I have never been disappointed from anything I got from them.
5 feather dusters worms
5 peppermint shrimp
3 ultra premium rock flower nems
2 moss balls
2 shaving brushes
1 chalk basselet
This should be a lot of fun getting!

I love KP, great people to deal with, reasonable prices and fantastic livestock.
I am really excited. I have been wanting feather dusters for a while but either the lfs doesn't have any or they were attached to rock that the store wanted to keep.

I have always loved rock flower nems but its been a very long time since I have had any, probably a decade or more. My husbandry is better now so I am hoping for long time success with them.

The peppermint shrimp should keep excess food from being caught in crevices and degrading.

I've had shaving brushes before but it was before I dosed flourish, AFR and Magnesium, so again I am hoping for more long time success.

I have never had a moss ball before so excited about that. Also I have never had a Chalk Bass so looking forward to that.

And yes, I couldn't agree more about the folks at KP Aquatics!

Surprise! KP Aquatics overnights my order even though I got free shipping! I love these folks!!!
Everything looked awesome as always and they gave me extras. An extra mangrove because the leaves weren't quite out. Also an extra shaving brush and an extra peppermint shrimp.
I took a video as soon as all was in the tank. To see the RFAs, look behind the moss balls, shaving brush and toadstool.
