What's up everybody. Hope the holidays have been treating you well.

Got the camera out to check out the new tripod Santa brought me, and got some new pictures. Colors are finally starting to get back to where I would like. Few things look a lot better, some things are getting there. Growth is good, and I picked up a couple of frags from SEA today.

The torch & hammer have gotten bigger

The mystery acro...ultra blue tenius

The new mystery acro. No idea what it is, but it's cool. And the spongodes that's doing well, after I thought it was a goner at one point.

Another millie & acro

Poker stars, color isn't great, but obviously the grow is.

Red Planet. Color is improving, and finally after plenty of encrusting, I'm getting some vertical growth.

A nice monti.

And a really odd acro. Rob said the mother colony grows like a red dragon acro, but the color is different. The dark base with the really light polyps caught my eye.

The second one is A. horrida. It will develop a green base under intense light.

Got the camera out, and shot some pics, figure I should update this thread...

The full tank shots were taken last night under full lighting. Took some close up today under actinic, still working to get good looking shots under actinics.

And lastly, this green acro took a turn for the worse out of the blue. I moved to a shady spot, and figured it was toast. Go figure, it kept showing some PE, and while a good amount of it died off, it looks to be making a comeback.

The growth is good, but my colors still aren't there. NO3 is proving to be stubborn. I'm thinking that my ER rs-80 is just a little underpowered for the tank. So I'm kicking around the idea of upgrading, which is a tough sell to the wife.

Any thoughts on a good option?

My top choice would be an SRO 1000sss. I've looked at the SWC 160 cone, Vertex in-100, SWC 150BMK, SRO INT-1000 along with a few others, but I keep going back to the 1000sss.

Snapped some pics tonight. Things are chugging along. Growth is good, color is much better. I added a controller and automated my dosing...love that.

German Blue Polyp acro...love this piece.

Rainbow monti.

Danae? Just a guess, but this thing is hot pink, pictures never seem to pick that up (or maybe it's the photographer )

My Bubble Gum Millie, not sure if it's a "true" BG millie, but it's similar coloring.

"Plating" Spongodes. Bleached out a bit when I switched out my T5s...a little unhappy? It literally started growing straight down, away from the light.

Sold to me as a "Baby Blue" acro by an RC member...

Pictures came out a little washed out. I'll have to work on that...if there were only a few more hours in a day.
