8 bulb ati combo

Great thread i use the same bulb combo as discus heckel
Could every body post their photoperiods?
Watched the recent vid by Dana Riddle at macna on light and alkalinity very interesting.
I wonder if we overcook our corals and would get better growthwith shorter photoperiods
I run mine 10 hours all bulbs and 12 hours 2 bulbs.

8 bulb ati combo

At the moment I run 8 bulbs for 7 hours and 2 bulbs for 9hrs. Note that my lights are the non dimmable version so all 8 bulbs are at 100% for the 7 hours. This is a 8x39w ati sunpower unit.

12 hrs B+ & Pure Actinic (inc 2hr ramp up/down)
8hrs Everything (inc 1 hr ramp up/down)

I had an ABS but found the light too 'white' for my tastes. Went the total opposite an swapped it for another actinic which is now close to perfect for how I like it but perhaps a little dark. I may swap out a B+ for a C+ though after reading the above which may take a little blue out and enhance red/pinks.
