8 bulb ATI Sunpower bulb plan

Hello

I'm planing on doing a sps reef and am plaining on an 8 bulb Sunpower. The tank dimensions are going to be 5x2x2. The bulbs I'm considering are:

Blue+
Coral+
Blue+
Purple+
Blue+
Coral+
Blue+
Blue+

Am hopping this will give me a nice balance of colors but I'm open to suggestions.

This is the exact 8 bulb combo you have, just on a 6 ft tank

I ran that exact bulb combo on my 8 bulb dimmable sunpower. I had great color and growth and will use the same combo once I'm back up and running.

Too blue for me … but I prefer the 14k look over the 20k look.

I run 3 Blue+ out of my 8 bulbs and it's still very blue … when I take photo's, I kill two of the Blue+ that I have on the separate ballast just to help with color rendering in the photo's.

For my also to blue, why not some ATI aquablue specials?

Personally I prefer the KZ Fiji Purple to the ATI Purple +. The KZ is a bit more pink/purple but I guess it's personal preference.

+1 on the kz fiji purple. I use all ati bulbs in my sunpower except I found the purple plus more red the kz fiji purple adds a little more purple pink look but just like blueline mentioned its personal preference and they are all great bulbs that you can play around with.

I perfer ATIs in this order front to back

what I found was by running coral+ as first bulb it took out the windex look and gave me more of a true radium look that I was looking for. IMO purple+ bulbs are out dated with the newer coral+, they were needed in the day of aquablue specials which I also believe are out dated

Too washed out blue for me as well, I would have to work an aquablue special or two in there. Possibly even a GE 6500k
