8 bulb T5 from ATI over a 180 ?

think this is enough ? or should I get a 10 bulb ? Can't even find the 10 though . My other option is halides but since they ditched the pheonix bulbs my only other option ( to me ) is Radiums . maybe there is another bulb people would recommend ?

It will work well over a 180 assuming you get the 60" unit.

yes plan on the 60" unit my only other concern is will this light be able to keep clams ? I don't have any right now but want one or 3 lol. I can add one now sisnce tank is nice and stable now after a year

I never kept clams when I had mine setup but Im sure it's plenty capable of doing so.

Plenty of light. I ran an 8 bulb sun power 48 inch model over my 120 and have clams in sand and acropora top to bottom. The 60 inch version will be a perfect match. If you want more opinions post in the T5 Q&A thread. Lots of great info and helpful reefers.

I have an 8*80 ATI over my 210 (( hung from the canopy, so it is pretty close to the water surface )).

While I don't have any clams in the tank (( I do have one in my other tank -- was going to put them in my 210, but we are going to be moving soon, so the tank is in limbo )), I have no doubt that they will thrive (( even on the sandbed )) when I do put them in there. My S. haddoni (( which I use as a light judge )) is doing great on/in the sandbed of the 210.
