Ok I am looking for a 8 inch PVC pipe for my overflow, but cant seem to find any. I searched google and the sticky at the top of this fourm and still cant seem to find it. And I also checked out home depot.

So please if any of you have a link or know where I can get some please LMK.

The only place you are going to find it is a construction supply, or roadside contruction project. Your town or nearest city will have places that sell BIG pipe for commercial use. They may have a scrap or two. It never hurts to stop and ask the guys installing city water and sewer lines... if you see pipe that big on a job, stop and ask.

If color doesn't matter, look for SDR 35 PVC Pipe......its a nice green color, but about half the price of Sched 40.

Look around for some pipe supply stores, construction supply places etc..... if you were around Kentucky, I could point you in the right direction.

SDR is a thinner wall pipe then pvc sch40. I'm a plumber in Sonoma County California, and we buy large PVC at Pace supply, and Cal-Steam. I also think Slakey Brothers carries PVC but we don't but there. I think that Pace Supply is also in Arizona.

Bean-Will do but if I could find it at a store that would be even better.

RW-Not in Kentucky sorry and I plan on painting it anyway so color isnt a problem.

Doug-Checked their and no go :(

Culdublvd-I will look to see if their is a Pace here.

Thanks all for your help.

And if worse come to worse I will just try and buy some on here cause I only need 16 inches worth.

Why don't you use grey PVC ducts? They are a lot cheaper than the regular PVC pipes. YOu can get them at usplastics.

What I have done or play around with is pvc sheets. You can buy a small piece of 1/4" grey or thinner sheet of pvc. You can boil the sheet in water or cooking oil and form it against a cylinder of any size to the shape you prefer.
You can make 1/2 cylinders this way. You can probably use cylinder steel cans or paint cans to wrap the "warm" pvc over it. You might be able to get scraps at your local plastic store.
Or I have used black acrylic before and slowly heat in the oven and contour to a cylinder can.
