8 line flasher wrasse

Bad news, I found one of the Labout's wrasse dead and the other one is laboring at the bottom but hoping it will pull through. The sale is over.

I don't about others but it seems this past year I am encountering more DOA and DAA more than prior years.

Sorry to hear about your loss, I hope the other pulls through.

I found the second Labout's body after not seeing it since last night. I had a bad feeling when I saw her laboring on the side last night. This has been a tough week losing 4 out of 5.

The good news is that both eightlines are out and was even eating flakes this morning. I do have one concern though the larger one have 2 pieces scales that looks loose in the middle of the body but other than that she is swimming and eating.

Here are some pictures

nav jam--thanks.

Hope everyone's eightlines are doing well.

I know the eightlines didn't fare well on the first batch from NYA but how are the replacements doing? Was it more death with males than females or was it about the same?

Anyone have updates with the males they received from Liveaquaria?

Eightlines were not on my stocking list but the more I see them the more I like. There seems to be a sudden influx of these in the last couple of weeks here in the UK.

Im tempted to purchase these as an alternative to a pair of Radiant's (if I can source them). Are the Eightline or any other Wrasse known to eat flatworms?

Mine was a replacement from NYA. I have ich still but I think he'll be OK.

Man, that sucks Dex.

Both of mine are in hypo right now, just got the salinity down to 1.009 this morning but was at 1.010 yesterday. They seem to be eating well still and I honestly can't see spots on them anymore, but I'm taking this slow. Both are still swimming around as normal.
