FishTankers
New member
Hello everyone, I'm new here but have been keeping different reef tanks for 25 yrs or so.
My 4 year old son calls us Beep Boxers when we make beats (we suck at it but we love to try) and Fish Tankers (when we do tank stuff together) so I picked the username Fish Tankers based on what he calls us since I love the time with him so much.
Anyways, I'm working from home now so I started a tank stand build. I chose Red Oak.
I got 2 custom tanks made out of 1/2" Sapphire glass from Pat at Aquatic Warehouse. This stand is for the larger tank.
Here's the frame so far. I still need to install the upper deck frame for my power outlets and controllers level.
Then comes marine primer and marine paint, and either red guard or a shower liner or maybe both.
It's a lengthy process and requires a lot of thought. I need more coffee. Haha.
Also, I'm completely obsessed with Festool.
I will post more as progress ensues.
Thanks for looking and responding!
