83 par or 69 par is that gap big?

I run 3 250 phoenix 14k rated at 69 par on sanjays site and i just pick up some aqualine 10k rated at 83.

Is that considered to be a big difference in par? The aqualine are all most twice as much $$$ so i wanted to know if 14 par is worth the extra cash.

IMO it is a lot, BUT you are comparing apples to oranges. 14K and 10K are completely different colors (or at least they should be if both are marked true). As an example, if you are just worried about par go pick up 250w Iwasaki 6500 bulbs and run them on a PFO ballast. You would get more than double the par you are getting now. (and look nice and yellow doing it).
