85 Gal HEX For Sale! Excellent Condition!

85 Gallon Hexagon tank. Currently set up for FW. It has a custom stand and canopy and is in excellent condition. It has a Magnum 250 external canister, Heater, ECO Aqualizer, Under gravel filter. I was going to covert this to a SW sea horse tank but decided against it. Its an all glass aqaurium and has no visible scratches that i can tell. It has a fairly new (NOV) T5 light.
Im asking $350 OBO. Let me know.

Paul, why did you change your mind on the SW seahorse? My G/F has been doing her homework on seahorses, and although I tried to explain the difficulties in keeping them, even in a species only setup, she is still determined.

well if she is determined i have the tank for her...the reason i chose against it is because, in the spring/summer i teach golf, and ill be playing on the pepsi tour in california here....so im not gonna have a lot of time to take care of tanks.....thats really the only reason..hope this answers your ?....later

This is simply a beautiful tank in immaculate condition. I saw it last night and was very impressed. I would have bought it if I had the $$$ to spend.

How hard would it be to make that into a reef tank. would a Overflow fit well onto it?

an over flow would fit on it perfectly. I seen a pic of one of these where a guy had a piece of wood that resembled a pier support coming up in the center of it. At the bottom he had some Sand and LR. The pier post had old rope tied around it in a spiral arrangement. He had a bunch of crustations growing on the post and stocked the tank with Seahorses. It was the most beautiful arangement I have seen to date.

But all in all, the pics dont do it much justice...the tank is HUGE! Lots of room to put stuff on like Overflow, skimmer (backpac) that kind of stuff.

NU2SW was it your wife that offered me $500 in mary kay stuff, probably not but just curious. I know im beautiful, but i dont need mary kay. LOL!
