Id buy new live rock and replace the old.

Would just pull all the rock , melt with kalk and start over. Unless there is something on the rocks that is good for the tank, its just fish only right?

probably your best bet....with no cost to you.

Let me warn you, businesses like these generally get scared away from someone being upfront about the REAL cost to maintain the systems...and will generally go with the guy that will cut corners and do it for cheaper.

It's just been my experience. No one running a business wants to hear that their system needs a 5k upgrade to do the job right. Theyd rather nickle and dime it and pay more in the long run...although they dont realize it.
