Help I just bought a new Reflo pump for my 265 the best way for me to install it will be with a 90 elbow and then a shut off to the pump intake due to space constrictions does anyone have any suggestions if this is OK the directions said avoid elbows before the intake. the other way I can mount it would be a straight shot but above the sump off a bracket or something. Thanks Bobb

Limiting turns on your plumbing is always the best way to go, but often tiimes you don;t have any choice when you're working with the restrictions that you have under your tank. Do you have room to use flexible hose instead of the ridid 90 degree elbow?

Yes would that be better. Im placing it beside my sump and have enough room for the pump to be placed sideways. I intended on using a submersible but thing being what they are I have what I have. I can Plumb with flexi pipe to a valve to the pump.

I ran into the same situation and ended up using 2-45s to cut down on the angle a 90 would have had all at once.
I wish I could have use no angles but sump and stand set up prevented it..
