90 gal and 6065?

I have a mixed reef and was thinking of putting 2 6065's in for flow.

how will these work in a 90 flow wise? will it be way to much?

I plan on having one on each side of the tank, alternating every hr or 2 to the other side.

The controllable pumps are just not in my budget right now.

It should be OK, but for almost the same cost you could get a single 6095 and be able to adjust it if needed and slowly build up a controllable set of pumps. The 6095 will be weak on the far end, but with return flow from a sump and a cheaper temporary pump you should be able to get by and the controllable pumps don't require a controller to run or adjust the flow rate.
