90 gal lighting

is a 2x150W metal halide with 2x54W T-5 enough for a 90 gallon regular or do I need to move up to 2x250W?? I would want a mixed reef, softies through sps

what are your tanks dimensions? Depending on how deep(top to bottom) your tank is will be a determining factor. I have a AGA RR 90, 48"x18"x24"and run 2 250w radiums with 2 110w vho. With a tank 24" high you will need the bigger light to get good par at the sand bed.
