Wow folks. This thread really doesn't reflect well upon us.

As something constructive, a member just bought a 120 g tank, sump, stand, canopy, metal halide/pc setup, backpack skimmer, and a couple hundred dollars' worth of equipment (at new prices) for $300 in Ames. I'm sure your tank is very nice, but that price is probably too high for the people using this forum.

Come on Ryan...

We are just having a little fun. He was trying to mark up an over priced under described tank to make a quick $800. He has to expect a little good humored ribbing...

As for actually trying to sell the 90 gallon tank. Try eBay if you really need to get top dollar and make sure to include a ton of pictures. Pictures are worth a thousand words and can help justify a thousand dollar price tag. As for price, I would not expect to get more than $750 out of that setup without seeing it or knowing what is in it for livestock even on eBay.

Your best bet would be to part out the whole thing and sell all equipment and livestock seperately.

Good luck and happy reefing.

Dangit man, you just summed up the first three years of my life!

/parents probably would've taken less than $2500 for me ;)

If you can read back i had said i know someone selling it for 1700.

So pic's, i can not provide. If you want it for 2500 i'll go buy it for 1700 and get you all kind a pics.

Then you can pick it up. lol anyone.....

From the sounds of it...it isn't his tank? He saw someone selling it for $1700 and was going to buy it then turn around and sell it again for $2500?

At least that what it sounds like to me.
