Alright so my name is Cody and I have been trolling this forum for just about a year and a half gaining all the knowledge I can on reef tanks. I have done just about every style of freshwater there is and have always been scared of saltwater. But in the end I just couldn't stay away from the beauty. I bought a 90 gallon tank about a year ago and have had it just kind of sitting until I could try and piece together most of what I needed.

Like I said before, I had the tank just kind of sitting for a while and I had nothing to put it on and I felt if I had a stand it would give me that extra oomph to get the build going hehe. So i decided to just go ahead and have a go at building one instead of paying $300+....

So now that I had a stand to hold the 90, I needed a spot in the house. I decided to go with a corner of my room and as you can see I started the build before deciding what to do with my 40g long freshwater tank ha. Oh well.
Tank on the stand and mock up of the sump (Yeah I know the sumps a little small. Im working on that)
<a href="http://s382.photobucket.com/albums/oo269/lilm4n91/?action=view¤t=2012-01-17_21-59-57_796.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo269/lilm4n91/2012-01-17_21-59-57_796.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
Water and some sand added
<a href="http://s382.photobucket.com/albums/oo269/lilm4n91/?action=view¤t=2012-01-20_11-28-31_376.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo269/lilm4n91/2012-01-20_11-28-31_376.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
I ended up attaching a water bottle filled with filter floss to the bottom of a PH to clear up the loose sand. And as you can see this is just the first two pieces of LR I received from the LFS.

AND just about finished aquascaping

So that's the basic setup of the tank. I will post a bunch more pictures and updates on the tank tomorrow. Let me know what you guys think so far. Thanks!
