90 gallon setup and start

ok everyone i have a question

how would i put a fuge on my tank i would like to but im not to sure on how to hook it up to my system i dont have the option of redoing my sump so thats out of the question but i think i could tie it in through my other pump but i think the flow would be to fast so help please

you could split off your drain into a seperate tank that drains into the sump. Thats what i did and it worked out pretty good.

ya the big one i scored fer free the other little millis i baught a while ago and browned out in my aquapod they are my guinie pigs to see how the tank is doin

I have a dilema I have bben searchin for a black tang for a while now and the lfs i work at got one in i want it real bad but im not sure if my tank is ready what would you guys do and the price is right i have no problwm shoveling out the money but i wouldnt want to sse it die:confused:

I would just wait. When you are ready the lfs will order you one. I go to my lfs all the time and just tell him what I want and he gets it. No big deal.

I don't know if you changed this but that gray drain hose to your sump had a dip in it. You may want to either fix the hose up so it is a steady drop to your sump or shorten it. Any dips will restrict your flow.

well i got the rest of the rock in i love it and i scored alot of corals and i guess ill just have to see how they do they are goin ot be my testers.

here ya go

I purchased a 90 RR AGA and I'm in the process of building the sump. My original plan was to have bioballs in it, but after hearing that they aren't good for corals, i'm unsure about them. What would be an alternative to have, just live rock in the area where the bioballs are supposed to go? Thanks

i use the berlin method or called filter socks i love them you can reuse them over an over its great 1/2 cup of bleach 1 wash cycle an one just rinse cycle then air dry i recmend it
