90 gallon sump questions

alright so I've decided to upgrade from my biocube 29 to a marineland 90 gallon reef ready. It comes with a standard 1" bulk head for the overflow. I'm using a 29 gallon as a sump, and have a mag 12 for the return pump. My issue is that the mag 12 uses a 3/4" outlet, so what kind of adapter can I use to make a flexible tube fit my bulkhead to the return? What kind of adapter can I use for the drain on the overflow for the same kind of tubing, or should I just order 1" tubing for the drain to make it fit? Do I need a ball valve to throttle the mag 12, or am I okay with just running the tubing straight to the return from the pump?

Thanks for your patience

You can get an adapter to go from 3/4 to 1inch that screws right on the pump
Put a ball valve on the return line after the pump to control the levels in sump and tank

awesome I'll do that! and do I need any kind of clamp to make sure the hose doesn't come loose from the bulkhead? Or will it be a tight enough fit to seal and stay attached?

Whenever possible use PVC pipe and glue over flex hose and clamps
Just ask for slip fittings for the adapter bulkhead and ball valve
