I have decided to sell my saltwater tank setup because I just don't have the knowledge to maintain it and my saltwater guy moved away, my neighbor's dog broke my RO/DI unit and I have no access to good water now. I am selling everything together and not parting it out. Its a 90 gallon tank with corner overflow, 15 gallon sump in the stand. Stand was hand made by previous owner and is very sturdy but could use some touching up. Setup for metal halides and blue actinics although the halides need to be replaced. There is a significant amount of live rock and live sand in the tank, along with one clown fish and a skinny melanarus wrasse I have a lot of money invested in this and Im sad to see it go, but I am not giving these critters the care they need and deserve. If I could find another good tank maintainance guy in the area, I would be keeping it. Come break it down, $500 cash in Shippensburg, PA.

Sorry to hear you are getting out.

A tank is really easy to maintain, there really isn't a reason to need a maintenance person unless you are disabled or have zero time.

I maintain 75g tank with minimal effort.

I spend maybe a minute a day feeding, 10 minutes a week cleaning the glass and about 30 minutes making water and doing a water change, also maybe 10 minutes a week cleaning the skimmer cup. That is significantly under and hour a week.

There really isn't anything difficult. The most difficult thing is mixing the salt water.
